My work explores the relationship between people, environment and time.
By using expressive lines, layered textures and a powerful play of colours, I capture stories that reach beyond the moment. Whether it is architecture, emotion or cultural symbolism, my art looks for connection and meaning in the constant interaction between past, present and future
I work alternately with acrylic paint, print and collage techniques on wood, paper, canvas and cardboard. Each work starts with an idea that gradually develops into a theme.

About me
From fleeting moment to enduring story
My process starts with intuitive research: I create mental space to explore ideas and do this by taking photos, reading, sketching and taking notes. From the sketches that inspire me, I set up a work and explore the theme by using different perspectives and materials.
This creates work that really appeals to the imagination and comes to life. Each work of art often leads to the next, like a snowball effect, and it is only when I have fully explored a subject that it feels finished to me.
History, stories, anecdotes in daily life around me are an important source of inspiration for me.
